Terms of service

Using the games

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use our games on devices you control. Please do not decompile them, resell them, or pass them off as your own. The rules of 29 are centuries old and belong to everybody; our implementation of them does not.

Baithak is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Account and social features require acceptance of these terms before your name is shared. We keep the accepted terms version with your account. Guest computer play remains available without creating an account.

Behaviour at an online table

Choose a respectful display name and username. Do not post hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or otherwise abusive names; impersonate another person or House of the Card; expose someone else’s private information; harass players; spam requests or invitations; disrupt or automate play; or interfere with the game server. These rules apply to usernames, the League board, friendships and tables. We may replace a username that breaks them.

We may refuse service to a connection or an account that abuses the server. Accounts are optional and carry your record, progression, private economy, inventory and verified purchase delivery; abusing the service is a reason to close one.

Use the in-app report control to flag a name or abusive behaviour, and block a player to stop friend requests and invitations between you. Blocking also removes your friendship and pending requests and hides the player from your online directory and League names. It does not promise separate public matchmaking. We review reports and may rename, restrict or close an abusive account. Automated name checks help, but cannot identify every problem.

For a safety complaint or to request review of a moderation action, email houseofthecardofficial@gmail.com with the display name and approximate time. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or another player’s private information. A person reviews the request.

Purchases & Kaudis

• Purchases are optional. The store offers three fixed consumable Kaudi packs, premium-wheel spins, and a one-year auto-renewing Ad-free year subscription. People who already bought the retired permanent Remove Ads product keep that permanent entitlement.
• Ad-free year suppresses forced ads while its paid period is current; voluntary rewarded videos remain available. The exact price is shown before purchase by Apple or Google. Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm. The subscription renews automatically for another year unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current paid period ends. Your store account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before that date. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Play Store subscription settings. There is no free trial.
• Nothing purchasable changes cards, odds, XP, level or rank. Kaudis unlock cosmetic items with disclosed contents and pay the fixed entry to online tables. Purchased Kaudis do not expire.
• Your app store processes payment and handles refunds under its policy. Our server verifies each transaction before delivery. Refunds and revocations may remove the unused purchased Kaudis or entitlement associated with that transaction, without making a wallet negative.
• Kaudis are virtual entertainment items for use only inside Baithak. They have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged, or redeemed for money or anything outside Baithak.
• Offline computer play is free and unlimited. Public matchmaking and private rooms use Silver, Gold or Royal tables with a fixed Kaudi entry and a disclosed minimum balance. Each return is fixed and funded by us: one player’s entry never pays another player, and there is no cash-out or real-world prize. These tables do not increase Kaudis on average. A deliberate leave forfeits the entry and fixes that seat at the disclosed losing return. A connection loss alone does not do this. Challenge Rooms, leagues and tournaments have no entry fee.

Advertising

Our games show ads, but never during active play. After your first session, one automatic ad may appear when you leave a finished match’s result or confirm leaving a match part-way. The result is readable before its share card is covered; a player-opened ad uncovers it, and it also uncovers if no ad is available or the ad is dismissed. Play again, Home and round history remain available. Rewarded ads are optional, including for permanent Remove Ads owners and current Ad-free year subscribers. Permanent Remove Ads, a current paid Ad-free year, and the seven days without forced ads disclosed with a first Kaudi purchase are the purchase-based forced-ad suppression paths. Advertising content comes from the ad network, not from us; if you see an advert that seems fraudulent or inappropriate, tell us and we will report and block it.

Availability, and the honest disclaimer

Offline play is yours and needs nothing from us. Online play depends on a game server that we may need to take down for maintenance, and which we do not promise will be available at any particular moment.

The games are provided as they are, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights your local consumer law gives you — where those conflict with these terms, your law wins.
